Live in Color is a student organization at the University of Michigan, dedicated to improving local environments via color and design.
Using well established color psychology, Live in Color brings vibrance to many of the older university buildings designed without regard for atmosphere. These buildings often have bleak, white walls, which can have a substantial negative impact on the students, faculty, and staff using them every day.
Live in Color has begun to engage with local businesses, creating custom murals to bring color to Ann Arbor.
Founded in 2018 by Julian Hansen and Zoe Duncan-Doroff, Live in Color is a student organization with over 100 members from many fields across campus. Inspired by our pillars of Community, Creativity, and Atmosphere, we are dedicated to cultivating an interdisciplinary community, giving students of any experience or background a creative outlet as well as the opportunity to make their mark.
